An evening dedicated to Armenian symphonic heritage is set to take place in Tbilisi this April.

The concert will be held on April 22 at the Kakhidze Tbilisi Music and Cultural Center, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia.

On stage, the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra will perform under the direction of conductor Vakhtang Kakhidze, joined by internationally recognised violinist Sergey Khachatryan.

The programme brings together key works from Armenia’s musical canon, highlighting compositions that blend emotional depth with orchestral richness.

Among the pieces to be performed are Aram Khachaturian’s Adagio from the ballet Spartacus, his celebrated Violin Concerto, as well as Symphony No. 3 by Avet Terterian.

Khachatryan, widely regarded as one of the foremost violinists of his generation, has received top honours at prestigious competitions including the Jean Sibelius International Violin Competition and the Queen Elisabeth Competition.

The concert promises to offer audiences in Tbilisi a rare opportunity to experience Armenian symphonic music performed at the highest level, bringing together cultural dialogue and musical excellence in a single evening.
