Georgia Fashion Week 2025 has officially come to a close, unveiling the Spring/Summer 2026 collections. The Tiflis Fashion team was on the ground in Tbilisi throughout the week, closely following the events, and now it is time to highlight the most memorable runway moments of the season.

For many years, Georgia Fashion Week has served as an important platform bringing together journalists, buyers, and fashion professionals, supporting local designers and introducing new names to the global fashion scene. This season, most of the key shows took place in the historic Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace, located in the very heart of the city.

TINATIN MAGALASHVILI

Georgia Fashion Week opened with a runway show by fashion house TINATIN MAGALASHVILI, presenting a refined De Luxe collection distinguished by intricate, couture-inspired embellishments. Each look carried a sense of sophistication achieved through precise craftsmanship and decorative richness.

The collection drew inspiration from the designer’s early childhood drawings, transforming youthful imagination into mature fashion expression. Titled Dreams Come True, the line featured floral motifs that echoed Tinatin’s earliest creative experiments with fabric. Designed for a confident, contemporary woman, the collection balanced professional elegance with a subtle sense of nostalgia, reminding us that childhood dreams can evolve into timeless style.

This fusion of sound and fashion added a distinct local character to the show and allowed guests to appreciate every detail of the designs.

A contrasting energy arrived with the presentation of the young Georgian label GEOTREND, which introduced a collection shaped by the rhythm of contemporary life. The brand explored the reality of modern women who constantly transition between different roles, spaces, and responsibilities.

Inspired by movement and endurance, the collection Momentum translated the concept of forward motion into sharp silhouettes, expressive accents, and balanced proportions. Handcrafted and individually hand-painted pieces emphasized the brand’s dedication to authenticity and artisanal quality. GEOTREND offered a wardrobe designed for women who value both practicality and refined aesthetics while staying in constant motion.

The fashion house House Materia, with over a decade of history, presented its premium line Atelier Materiel, launched following the brand’s recent rebranding. Designers Lika Chitaya and George Keburia revealed their vision for the upcoming season through a two-part runway presentation.

The show opened with Lika Chitaya’s collection featuring oversized silhouettes – from trousers to outerwear – combined with leather belts and structural details. A palette dominated by black and multiple shades of grey was paired with dense fabrics softened by silk and satin textures. After a short intermission, George Keburia continued the narrative by translating the same concepts into eveningwear, adding elegance and drama while maintaining the collection’s core aesthetic.

Designer Simon Machabeli presented a daytime exhibition of dresses enriched with traditional embroidery inspired by Georgian folklore. Fairy tales, childhood imagination, and personal memories served as the foundation of the collection. The pastel-colored, airy silhouettes evoked images of fantasy characters – as if created for a fairy or Alice in Wonderland.

Alongside the garments, visitors were able to view original sketches and design drafts, offering insight into the creative process and revealing how each piece evolved from concept to final form.

Dmitry Celsin

Jewelry designer Dmitry Celsin showcased his handmade jewelry collection during a daytime showroom presentation. The designs featured unconventional metal alloys adorned with gemstones and rock crystal inserts.
